I've done 2 cycles in the past and haven't used gear for over 2 years. I want to do a course of anavar only soon and wish to get it right. The last time I used var I digressed from my goals completely because I was shocked at the strength gains I was seeing I forgot all about dieting etc and went crazy on strength! So I want to ask a few questions and if anyone can answer I'd really appreciate it:

1) what dosage should I be looking at?
2) how long shall I run the cycle?
3) is post cycle necessary, if so what do people recommend from experience?
4) how will var fit in with my mma training?

Fat 19%
Routine - mma based 2-3 x week, strength training 2-3 x week
Past cycles - tren, clen, win 10wk cyc 4 years ago. Test E, Nandrolone, Anabol, Winstol 12wk cyc, 2 and half years ago.
Anavar only about 18months ago 6wk cyc

Diet - my diet is very good, i have high insulin sensitivity and so I use low carb, high protein diet regularly and get good results from it. I have a day where I go off track a bit in the week, as most people do. I try to get all my protein requirements from whole foods, I stay away from sugars, oils etc and stick to complex carbs, using simple carbs during times when insulin sensitivity is highest.

I've been training with weights for about 12 years to supplement mma or boxing and had never considered gear until 4 years ago. I did the test e cycle 2 and half years ago as I felt I wasn't progressing as quick anymore, and after conversations with athletes who used in the past I decided to give it a go.

I'm looking at the anavar route because I don't want to inject at this stage...if I compete then I can look at that option with my coaches but I'm a long way off that stage. For now I'm looking to drop weight to be nearer my weight class 205lbs, so I'm looking to drop as close to 30lbs as possible. I want to keep or increase my strength as I have kept most of what I gained on the 2 cycles years ago.

Although my routine can vary, we always work with compound lifts changing between strength and power focus, so there are times when ill use Olympic lifts and variations. What do people think about how anavar fits around this type of routine? My routine never looks like a typical gym or bodybuilding routine for obvious reasons and because of this it's hard to get good relevant advice.
