stop hating on everyone.... this is a fighting forum. You dont like the posts, go somewhere else. Nobody is running there mouths, just talking about what interests them. Just b/c people get into street fights doesnt make them bad, there are a hundred reasons why a street fight might happen. Plus there are such things as a fair street fight, its called "no weapons" Its fair b/c both sides have equal chances of winning. Grappler Mike- I like how you put that take down, mound and pound... thats what im known for.... wrestlers baby!!!

Whats fair about one person having years and years of training in a certain expertese of fighting, pounding the crap out of some regular joe who has had a few too many to drink and cant think straight anymore. I dont having any proper fight training and I hate the dumb f*ckers who train to fight just so they can stay sober and beat the f*ck outta some intoxicated person who doesnt know better.

IMO, to train in a certain discipline means knowing how to use it, how to defuse possible bad situations and walk away. I have been in a couple fights and I know its sometimes easier said then done, but ive been reading on here alot lately of a couple people who "abuse" their ability.

    Just my opinion,

Having this extra fight training is like having a gun. What I mean is that just because I'm good with a gun, I don't go around shooting unarmed people.

By now you probably realize it's the lounge.

Hence the reason my response was posted, as I chose to respond to this thread because I was perusing the LOUNGE, not the fighting forum. I don't think I've been to the fighting forum, no interest in doing so anyhow.

So, my response stands as tall as it always has. Skyscraper.

i know what you mean, one time when i was like 20, i walked into a newpaper machine, and it smarted off to me about me drinkin so much, so i beat its ass, took its money and told it not to be back in the neighborhood again, and low and behold a week later his ass was back, so boom. i fixed him... cement shoes and a bridge.

What street do you live on?

Where I come from street fighting is for adolescents. And even though there is a fighting forum, street fighting is 1. illegal (but so is AS so fair point) 2. not a sport. and 3. something mostly viewed in films and 4. this is the lounge forum

You've been watching too many films! Chill out, go watch Bambi or Finding Nemo

Might give you a whole new attitude to life!

I'm LMAO at this thread and how "tough" every one is.

Grow up kids! Doesn't matter how tough you think you are...there's always someone tougher.

fighting with someone who knows how to fight is fun, fighting a untrained idiot is boring and a waste of my time. most street fights you can walk away from with out fighting. if you know how to fight from training youll know its not worth your time to get your clothes dirty for armbaring some idiot that wanted some trouble. id only fight if i have to, but best belive that training about 20 hours a week in vale tudo (maui thai/BBJ) will make you have all the confidence you need to win. like i said i like fighting someone that knows what they are doing or wants to learn, other then that its boring

another thing, if you ask someone if they like to fight and they say yes chances are that they are either a very big idiot, or they have never really been in a real street fight. i dont care who you are or how big you are, you are always scared at the beginning of the fight, anything can and will happen. that is why the best fight is no fight, but training just in case is a good precaution lol

I am probably the biggest and best fighter here...so no one can kick my butt....I have won every fight I have been in....I have even beat my mom for looking at me wrong....I am tough....I am King Kong and I ahve no respect for anyone....I even hit a little kid for taking too long with the gum ball machine....I hit an old lady once for walking to slow on the escualtor.....and I hit a man in a wheelchair when he tried to take my spot in the blue colored parking spot....so now what....LMFAO.....

I had to do this....I am with MBH....the best fight is no fight....WALK AWAY!

GUys the thread WAS originally posted in the fighting forum then moved here.. But there's a world of difference between street fighting and martial arts or boxing.

If your interested in the boxing/fighting/wrestling forum I have a thread there relating to street fighting topics being posted in that particular forum.

    http://forums.steroid.com/showthread.php?t=111849

Btw, I've no idea who moved in here. Most likely the Admin, who agreed with my points.

bro i was kicked out of a cafeteria in college for something similar, a guy cut line and i was like theres a line asshole, he looked and smiled and was like, there is for you, so it hit him with the metal food plate thing and wasnt allowed back in the entire year, it was worth it, bc he never acted like his mother died when he was a child and didnt teach him how to phuckin act in public...

If the fingers are gripped traditionaly (not as a real fighter would do) pull the fingers back.

If not, shift your bodyweight and slide out of it.

Lots of street fights, but you got to lose some before you win some, any undefeated picks on the week or never fights. Love to fight like the name says.

most street "fights" are fought by either drunk yahoos or delusional dipsh*ts.most of the toughest guys i know have never been in a street "fight".and i know their tough because we all train pankration and are'nt wannabes.we dont get into street "fights".we'd rather put on some grappling gloves and go at than go to the bar and one punch some drunk guy and then brag about it on an anabolic website.

What do you people do for a living that you can fight and come into work the next day with bruises? Do you work in a professional environment?

Man im tired reading all this...shtuff..I sent the guy who started this thread a pm after he took a lil offense to what I said to him...im 37..i started the bouncing game at 17....I was a big problem working the job at 17...felt I had to prove something..took offense to everything...started crap..was ego trippin...as time goes on u learn how to handle these situations/jobs...as the agressor in a street fight ive lost..why?..cause ive got it coming...theres always some dude out there bigger..or madder..or crazier..or better trained than u..or has got nothing to loose...u never know which cat it is...after 20 yrs..last 10 bouncin in nyc..shot at..knives pulled...gang fights...jaw broke...broke some jaws..Do i like fighting?..yeah...do I look for it?..no way..do I work in a job that keeps me in the mix?..yeah...whats my point?..oh?..I mediatate now..and take walks on the beach and ride my bicycle...and read books...and try and be a cohesive part of things..but once in a while when Im working u gotta do what u gotta do..but outside of it..u gotta take the high road...my last serious fight on the job cost me over $4000.00 and ultimately my job....no matter how much in the right I was...it cost me big...
