Well if you miss a headkick youve not only wasted twice the energii it takes to punch you have also lost some of your mobility.

So true - low kicks are a set up for me to get the opponent to start dropping his hands and protecting his legs. That's when high kicks or punches to the chin come in to play.

well...once again it's a difficult question. i'm sure u've been in street fight or seen them and it's not like they always start out with both guys saying "ok, let's fight." usually it's one taking a cheap shot and knocking the other one out.
if tyson were to fight cro cop in the street i don't think cro cop would throw high kicks without properly stretching out, therefore his only chance would be to take tyson down. let's face it, tyson's punches r alot harder and stronger than crocop, but with crocop's ground game improving and tyson coming from a sport where ground game is non existent, i think crocop would take him. but if tyson lands one shot....well.....u saw randleman doing it to crocop so...u just never know in a street fight.
