Here's the thing to think about when considering half-lives: say you're on a gram of test e a week. The half-life is 10.5 days. If you start Clomid at 10.5 days after your last shot, you're taking it as if you're on 500mg/week with NO pre-Clomid break before PCT. It's going to be another 10.5 days before you're at a level of 250mg/week, which is still above normal test levels.

In other words, that first 10.5 days on Clomid would be a waste of time since you still have 500mg of HTPA suppression in your system. I could be wrong but it's my understanding that you don't want enough exogenous test in your system to inhibit recovery when you start PCT and it's still suppressive even at a level of 250mg.
