I think I'm going to be a firefighter

I just got a letter in the mail today about my interview with the fire dept. I'm pretty stoked over it, I'll finally have a decent job w/ benefits and alot of self worth. It'll work well w/ another p/t job and bodybuilding because I'll only work 24 hour shifts w/ 48 hours off, then repeat. Only shittty thing about it is I dont know how I'll keep my GH refridgerated at the fire academy. I'm pretty sure I'm stuck there Mon-Fri w/ weekends off. If I was to bring it I'd have to keep it in my bag w/ preloaded syringes, but it would be a bitch to keep it cold, I mean a cooler wouldnt cut it, not all the week long. I may have to save it for a couple months, damn!!!

dont get caught with your gear. i am sure youd be fired......good luck and as RED KETCHUP said welcome to the club..........but first.....you got to pass the fire academy. keep this in mind and dont blow it by getting caught with gear!

congrats bro I start the fire standards academy in Jan. In Florida it is monday-thursday. Don't get caught with gear and ruin your career before it even starts. you can wait. i have a lot of friends that do it but they are already firefighters you can wait a few months. But my advice to you is when you grad., go EMT you will get hired faster and more pay. Florida it is damn near impossible to get hired without EMT. but good luck
