Also, how critical are the conditions that you keep them in? I have had this in my pickup, so temp has changed alot!

AS tend to lose potency after their expiry. I guess they go "off" eventually, but I think its more than "5 months".

Developed countries send their unused expired medicines etc...To undeveloped countries and they still use them effectively.

not juice specifically but my buddie is a pharm. rep. and says they are required to put experation dates on meds, but they really dont go bad if kept in optimum conditions.

If the stuff didnt go bad i guess there would be no need for an expirey date!so they must go bad some time.

It definately doesn't sound like it was kept in optimum conditions....Being in a truck with fluctuating temps.

the fluctuation in temps it was in would scare me from using it
besides if thats all you have to run it wouldnt be worth it to run alone.

What is the affect of the changing conditions/ Hot to cold. Should I get rid of them??

Changes in temp can cause the compounds to lose potency much more quickly than if held at room temp.
That said, you can still likely use it, and it does not go "bad" or toxic. It just becomes weak and later ineffective.
