    newbie needs advice

Whats up everyone! Im 23 and am about 150lbs. I dont know what my body fat percentage is but im sure its pretty low because im really skinny. My best friend has been working out for about as long as ive known him and he just started his 2nd cycle of susta 250. After his first cycle I noticed a huge difference in the size that he is gaining. I was thinking about starting up and having him help me work out. I was going to start out with susta 250 the same thing he is using because he has only really complained about the "flu" feeling and says that so far he is very pleased so far.
Now my question is...should I start out with the same thing he is using or should I go another route? I know there is alot of experienced guys here that would be able to give me some usefull information or suggestions. Please let me know what you think I would definately appreciate it. Im tired of being the skinny guy that no one looks at or notices and my motabolism is very fast and I have never been able to gain weight. Maybe this is the way. Thank you and I hope to get some responses.

Your best friend has been working out since you've known him - but how long have you been working out?
I'm only asking cause the more info you can post up the more we can try to help.
My gut tells me that you shouldn't be starting a cycle and that you need:

    A) More time in the gym
    B) Better form on your exercises
    C) A diet plan that is aimed at weight gain
    D) A workout partner that can help you

    Just my 2 cents.
Post more info on yourself and we'll go off that.

    ...

I havent really worked out in a long time. About a year or so ago I was a regular at the gym by my house but I stopped going...well basically because I didnt really see any progress, and that was with a trainer. Ive always been skinny and nothing ive ever tried has helped me gain weight or muscle mass. Its probably been about a year since ive even stepped foot in a gym. After seeing his impovement I was thinking of having him start training me and maybe think about starting some kind of cycle. I didnt really like the idea at first but the results are really impressive.
As far as I know my diet is good. I eat 3 meals ,sometimes more ,a day, healthy. Not always junk. And im fairly active beings how im a auto technition so im always keeping busy. I dont want to get "huge" but I would like to make a big improvement of my current state.

sounds like you need to eat a lot more...3 meals a day is no where near enough. you should try to eat 6-8 meals a day. Read this
