whats the best way to open em up?

hold the bottom with one hand....hold the top of the neck with your index finger and thumb of the other hand...and pop it off....always worked for me...

score the neck of the amp with a knife and it will pop right off!

I heard of many people using ink pin caps, but I'm glad you asked the ? again bacause I have a couple I need to bust open myself.

i score the neck with a glass cutter i picked up at home depot
put it in a washcloth and break it off.

i use a bic pen cap and it works fine everytime. you can buy an amp opener too. i just use the pen cap though. careful not to get any glass in your syringe..
