    Who used E-85

    Who uses E-85? I think it's great that we are having to rely less on off shore oil companies, and the cheaper price of E-85 is a plus aswell.

    It's not common in my area of Canada, but there are quite afew stations with it in the US I have noticed.

    E-85 is based on corn oil I belive.

    Its a mix of ethanol and gasolin. 85 meaning its 85% alcohol.

    Its becoming more and more popular in sweden. I would love to se sweden use a larger part of our big forest to produce ethanol. I dont think it will be a permanent replacement to gasoline though. But a quick fix while we find something better atleast.

    if its 85 octane i will never use it....i wish i could spend less on gas but i have to use 93...subaru...

    nahh its higher octane than gasoline

    It damage engine and gives less power than regular gasoline.
