Do you guys workout alone or with a partner? I'm going to have to start working out alone because my buddy is going to the airforce. I hope I won't get stuck with the weight on my chest.![]()

partner.. as MUCH as possible.. spotters are VERY IMPORTANT to me
Alone..
**** partners...people talk to much...i like to have less then 2 mins between sets, they talk and constantly have to switch weight...
Alone. New area, new gym. If I ask for a "spot" some of 'em look at me as if I'd asked them to lick the crack of my arse!!!!!!!!
alone

not to mention, i asked this guy to give me a spot last night, and he honest to God looked at me like i told him to help me load a washing machine. he wasn't too thrilled about it, but still helped. i've asked for a spot a few times, and he's been the only dick....so generally i think all people want to help....or at least thats what i like to think![]()
Working out alone, but partners have helped me get through plateaus a lot quicker than doing it by yourself.
Sometimes I don't think some people know how to spot - so they get a little uncomfortable with the whole thing.
i don't work out at all.
yeah some people really dont know how to spot it pisses me off, and i workout with a partner, a couple of em, just makes things more fun.Originally Posted by TADOLFI

With a partner as much as possible...But ya know what? I cant find one ****ing person to be reliable or consistent. I honestly prefer working out with someone because I like to goto failure on certain things like bench, close grip bench, and when going heavy on squats I like someone watchin my back. I hate to bug anyone else for a spot but do it when nessecary. I seriously have gone through a ton of workout partners (mostly my friends)...
Alone as well. Would be nice to have a partner though. That had the same goals, and could stay focused while working out
alone
IMO if you need a partner, or a spot...your a wienie...either you can get it or you cant, if you dont know yourself well enough..i dunno what to tell ya...none of that forced rep bullshit either. last guy that tried to get me to do shit that sat for about 3 minutes with a bar on his chest
oh ya..and powercages roc...self spotting
powercage >>>> workout partner
I prefer working out alone.
I work out at school so my fraternity bros and guys I meet around campus or in the weight room are always around so I can get a spot if needed.
Alone...

Try to have a partner with me (my cousins! they are shit and dont push themselfs) but i need them for my forced reps and such! Dunno how long ill have um, might have to rethink using a HIT routine without them!
i workout with my hand, usually my right hand, sometimes left, rarely both
yes i hav a partner
alone
Alone for years and hate it. Can't find a partner.

Partners are over-rated!
Besides, there will undoubtedly be times where your partner is sick, cannot make it, skips the gym for his bitch, etc. Relying on other people sucks monkey nuts.

both
Sometimes with a friend but I'd rather go alone (and usually do) because I'm there to workout not chit chat. .

Like it better alone, but sometimes will go with a friend and the spot is really helpful.

i work out alone a couple of friends used to come but they didnt stick it for long no dedication!!
i wish i could copy myself when i go to the gym then i'd have a training partner who wanted the same as me and then the workouts would be great
Alone for me too. I would probably benefit having a training partner though.
partners is good, cept w/ bino. having to take all the plates off after each of my sets gets annoying
I usually work out alone, but sometimes my GF come with me.
This chick came up to me asking questions about what days I workout etc. She has huge tits, nice ass etc. she wants to work out together but I don't know because I will not be able to concentrate on the weights besides her tits and ass. I guess I'll ask if we can work out at my house. what u guys think.. yei or nei
Both... if he shows, fine... if he doesnt, no problem. aint gonna change my schedule!
I have done both and alone is the best way IMO.
I workout alone. I like it. No distractions.
I used to train alone for a number of years, but now I have a partner. His goals are the same as mine, and he competes in bodybuilding just like me. It's great because this year both of our goals are packing on more size and putting off another show until next spring when we are both bigger. It's also great because he pushes me and talks me into using more weight, I'll just be like, dude your insane I've never used that much before, that shit will crush me!! And he'll be like, I know you can get this, just do it. I've made some really fantastic gains training with him so far, and the gym once again is exciting. I have a few other freinds but they live a couple hours away. When I go to visit my parents we all train together, and they all compete. Now this is a whole other story, but when we train together it's time to get up and get down with the sickness. But like I said, all of these guys have goals like mine so talking too much or missing a workout because of a broad is never the case. If I couldnt find anybody like this then I just assume train alone or call people over for spots.
