Removed gyno on thurs via armpit - no scars, look great!

I had some gyno from a cycle over 5yrs ago. it was a winny/deca and i guess the imbalance of horomones did it, not sure. but i had it and the reason i didnt get it removed was because i DID NOT want nipple scars. i felt that that defeated the purpose. I found this website while doing searches for doc's who can remove from other areas.

    www.SanDiegoLipo.com

yea, its a little pricey, but they sucked all that crap out from tiny incision about the size of half a grain of rice near my armpit. u cant see the scar, not noticable and the results are GREAT. im soo happy, my chest looks like new again, i think even better than before since he sucked out other fat in that area. Hopefully other guys who're in the same dilema will find this post thru search function and if they finance it like i did, can be happier w/ their results.

another thing is that its wed nite 1 wk after and im not wearing any compression or vests etc. I only had to wear that for 2 days. no tubes, no nothing. he has a technique called rapid recovery, which i wasnt really sure what that meant, but im fine. i was given a prescription for darvacet (like a weak version of vicodin), but i havent even taken 1 pill since the whole things been pain free.

as the saying goes... YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR...

glad i didnt go to the bargain basement for this procedure, i was really bout to, til they said they could finance...

good luck to anyone who does it...

Congrats on your surgery. I believe in top quality work when you do something like this. I had a hair transplant and I researched for years before landing on the right doctor up in Canada. I couldn't be happier. Don't go cheap on your body.

This procedure seems like it would work well in removing fatty tissue, but would not be effective against hard glanular tissue.

Glanular tissue tends to be too tough to be sucked through such a narrow cannula. Several doctors have tried to perfect different techniques of removing glanular tissue using power assisted lipo (a form of tumescent liposuction), but few have been able to do so effectively with good results. Dr. Frank Lista from Quebec may be the closest. Dr. Hamas in Dallas does a technique using a "sharp cannula, but his results have been terrible in most cases.

Usually doctor's will attempt to remove hard glanuar tissue with a thich cannula (bad idea) and will do so by ramming the cannula with force into the area. This is not a good practice and I have talked to surgeons who have actually broke the instrument trying to do this.

Take a look at the glandular tissue removed from this guy's chest:

There is really no effective way of removing this tissue without manual excision of the tissue by cutting into the areola area. Imagine trying to force this type of tissue through a narrow tube.

Fatty tissue is more soft and easily broken up into smaller pieces. They can use micro-lipo techniques to insert the cannula into the fatty tissue and suck the soft tissue out creating a series of holes.

Over time these holes collapse and give the area a decent, flatter looking contour.

Thanks for telling me about this new procedure. I am glad that your results turned out well. I am interested in his new techniques. I plan on writing Dr. Schafer an email to discuss his Microlipo and Rapid Recovery procedures. I am curious as to why he does not use drains in his procedures to prevent swelling and internal bleeding. I find the recovery time after his procedures rather amazing.

I cannot recommend anyone in the Central Valley area of CA. Dr. Miguel Delgado has offices in San Francisco and Novato, see his website at:
http://www.dr-delgado.com/. There are many good surgeons in the LA area, but that's even further away from you than the Bay Area.

Other good choices in SF are Dr. Rajagopal (www.sfcosmeticsurgery.com) and Dr. Freedman (www.friedmanplasticsurgery.com).

i recently had the surgery myself......exactly two weeks ago today. I had gyno (puberty induced) and had both glands removed. Surgery went great, and I am pleased with the results. I was back in the gym three days later training arms, and legs. This week I incorporated back and shoulders with no pain, and will begin chest next week. My only worries are it coming back on my next cycle (Prop/Primo) from the test.. Will a daily dose of 20mg Proviron & Nolvadex a day do the job?

yes, but not enough or long enough.
