Yea I was just reading about that on another board. I need to really sit down and examine the entire thing before I come to any finals conclusions for myself.
One conclusion I have made is that we all react differently to everything. Very hard to find a concrete answer across the board that will fit everyone goals. That's why I like to experiment![]()
I read it. Does this mean that since I have hyperthyroidism (over active thyroid) I should get better gains from GH since I naturally have high thyroid levels?

When I added T4, I seemed to get better results, Im not sure if it had to do with that it was about 4 months into my GH and it was just starting to work better or not, but after reading that article on M+M I will probably run them together for now on.JMO
Interesting to say the least.
May also have some indications for the 'proper' use of t3/t4 minus anabolics for dieting.
i was considering using t4 with my up and comming hgh cycle but reading that article has pretty much confirmed it for me
one question though:
it doesnt mention using t4 with or without AAS?
i am planning on running my hgh for 2 - 3months prior to my AAS cycle
would it be wise to confne my T4 use to within this AAS cycle,
or would it be beneficial to start using t4 as soon as i begin the hgh?
Ive swapped to T4 now for a few years while i take GH, this was mainly from the advice of a good friend who studies this area, he said that the t3 would be more dangerous while taking gh, anyway i swapped and i can honestly say ive seen the difference, its only slightly but the condition and quality do seem better,
Suppose it differs between individuals,

The ratio is about 4:1 T4/T3, I never go any higher than 200mcg T4, which would work out at 50mcg T3 while i am on GH

any opinions on runnning T4 with gh but no AAS?
Yes thats what i normally use around 100mcg T4 but ive gone up to 200mcg when i feel the need to, when i am on gh i always run a small dose of T4Originally Posted by G-Force
Also remember that Tamoxifen may increase serum TBG concentration and Anabolics decrease serum TBG concentration.
I just added T-4 to my HGH and AAS cycle. I could only get my doc to give me 90mcg's a day for seven weeks though. Do you take all 90mcg's in one dose?? If it converts at a 4/1 ratio then I am getting less than 25mcgs of T-3. With this being said if I already have a slow thyroid will this be enough??
My wife is on T4 and one time daily dose is more than enough, half life is several days..Only blood work can tell. With this being said if I already have a slow thyroid will this be enough??
My wife take 250 mcg, she started with 100 and upped by 50 mcg every time she got checked, and it was still not enough.
Every 3 weeks I think it was.

From what I understand, T-3 and especially T-4 are great additions to a GH cycle if you get really lethargic. They kind of combat that side effect
how long you take T4?
Yeah, I get very tired on GH. I just started taking raw thyroid grandulars from the HFS. That seems to help but I need to get some T4 it looks like. I need to find a good place. Does AR sell liquid T4?Originally Posted by stayinstacked
I thought I was tired all the time due to low test levels......then I found out it was because low thyroid levels!! Still looking to hear some more input on good dosages for T4
the ratio between t3 and t4 isnt 1:4 anymore while on HGH...HGH increases the conversion, so the increased T3 decreases TRH and TSH...
Article says the important thing is the conversion itself...so with the increased conversion i would use T4 a little higher then normal
My whole point.........what is normal?? I have never used HGH or T-4...until now. But I have a true medical reason to take the T-4. Some people say they feel results from just 30mcg's others say that is just a waste of money. of course this is all subjective!!
No, but you should be able to score som from an Online pharm.Originally Posted by Seattle Junk

Thanks bro. I found Cynomel T4 0,50mg 30tabs for $27. Is that fair?Originally Posted by Giants11

sounds about right
No, that's not a good deal (above). I doubt they mean .50mgs when that would be 500mcgs? I'm sure it's .50mcgs. The most I saw in one pill was 200mcgs SYNTHROID (T4) @ 180 pills for a good price.
Wait a sec, if the conversion is higher (t4 to t3), wouldn't we use less t4 while on GH? I'm confused?Originally Posted by fred9
I just ordered 360 pills @ 200mcgs/pill.
wow I did not know they came that high 200mcg's?? The highest I have heard of is 120..... My doc who I can get just about anything from said no how no way!
I dunno but here's a copy and paste of my order:Originally Posted by bringndaheat

Wow bro, those are some stout pills. You could break them in half and be in good shape! You would have enough for a year!!! Please keep me posted on the dose you start with and the effects. Thanks![]()
Oh yeah, I will break them in half or even 4ths. I have a pill splitter. No way I'm taking 200mcgs on the first shot. I understand the half life is long so I assume you just have to take it in the morn?Originally Posted by bringndaheat
Not sure I can't find that much research on this site about T-4!!
On GH the conversion t4->t3 increases...this means that the D1 and D2 enzymes production is increased, because they "create" t3 out of t4...Originally Posted by Seattle Junk
Those 2 enzymes are responsible for mediation of many of the effects T3 has on the body. This seems to be one of the ways deiodinase contributes to anabolism in the presence of other hormones.
with high T4 levels you are sure you have enough T4 to convert into T3 ...and you let the "body" decide how much T3 is produced...
only problem is that i assume that production of D1 and D2 is independent of TSH/TRH...because tsh/trh decreases with higher t4/t3 levels...
my question is still what would be a moderate does of T-4??
normally 100-200mcg
That's a big range Fred. I suppose you could start out at 75mcgs and work up? I suppose until you feel a lot more energy is where you should figure out your correct dosage? I have no idea with T4 but I know T3.Originally Posted by fred9
I thought I would work up from 25mcg's but eveyone I hear from says don't even bother unless you do 100mcg's
i'll be using 50mcg in my 3month hgh use before my AAS cycle
and will up it to 100mcg (or more depending on circumstances) on cycle
25mcg is too low in my opinion - thats if u are talking about T4
thats the same range as 25mcg-50mcg T3...Originally Posted by Seattle Junk
