well all we have at the gym here is a standing calf raise and what you do is load up your body weight +/- 10 lbs and perform a rest pause type movement. So for me I would load up 190 give or take and do 10 reps, rest 15sec, 15 reps, rest 15, 20reps, 15 reps and finally 10 reps, with a 15 sec rest in between each. Man i can hardly walk after doing these in fact usually the last set or so my final few reps aren't even full reps b/c the calves are dead tired they only move a little bit but you can see the muscle working its hardest.
