    funeral home (money maker)

i am not sure if it ever hit the news, but in a nutshell there were two large and prestigious funeral homes owned in NY where they would sell fresh cadaver parts on a black market. each dead body can accumulate to $1,250,000. These people were the number one supplier internationally as well.

The most highly demanded and expensive body parts such as kidney/liver/bones or any type of organ transplant where majority of the patients have to be on the waiting lists for years and years and end up dieing from limited inventory.

After a large potion of this organization has been captured, the authority also belived that some of these body parts maybe infected and would create further internal complications for the patients. This was a billion dollar business without a doubt.

after hearing all this shit i was disgusted what people are capable of, but at the same time lives were being saved those who could afford it. There is no way i will condon this type of activity, but if my loved one had a chance to live and i was able to make it happen, i would do anything even if it means resulting purchasing the needed organ illegally.

I bought a pair of breasts and female genitalia. I have them in the freezer until I can afford to get them attached. I might enter a female BB comp.

if they would let us use afterbirth which is worthless and just gets thrown away anyways we wouldnt have to worry about stuff like that.i read in mens health that the foreskin from a baby would make a ungoddly amount of new skin for a burn victim.

Personally I don't see the problem in recycling still usable body parts...

If anything I think it's a downright criminal and selfish waste to burry or cremate body parts which could save another life.

Of course if the harvesting of usable body parts was done automatically at the morgue, it would kill off the black market.

Just my 2 cents on that subject...

I thought parts for transplants had to be harvested pretty quickly once someone dies. By the time they hit the funeral home wouldn't it be to late for a transplant. I would have thought they would just be good for experiments or dinner.

i think alot of the time theres peaple in the hospital who are behind it also.but some organs must be able to survive the transport to the morgue.

Also remember that when someone is declared dead at an accident they do not go to the hospital, it's straight to the morgue. I know here most morgues are in the commercial funeral places, only crime victims and suspect deaths go to the "police morgue".

Notorious, I think what you say must be correct. I worked for a Funeral Director for a year a long time ago and before the hospital called us to pick up a body, they washed the body all over and put it in a special paper type body bag. One point of interest I noticed during my time in the funeral business, most people seemed to die early in the morning, i.e. like 2-3 AM and when I was on call they were always waking me up at these times of the AM. I hated that and then we had to embalm the body right away. As if they weren't making enough money as it is, something in the neighborhood of 800 % profit.

i c ur point bro, therefore i am biased since i would take advantage of that to save a life, but at the same time shit like that just don't seat right with me.

looking on the bright side though, its better to do it this way rather than a person being hunted down and killed strictly for body parts.

i read a huge article in maxim and playboy about this and its just now being relized here in the states that morgues have been salvaging body parts. but in third world countries peaple actually sell there body parts while there still alive for xtra money.its pretty sad sometimes its just for a promise of land or animals to their family.
