bump
With data is should be relatively easy...Nero asks me if i want to leave the disk open for more sessions.
what nero is that???
Why not use a re-writeable cd? Then just burn a new image onto it each time you need to.
Personally, I use a usb stick for things like that. Works nice, and easy to carry.
Like said above, I have Nero 6 and it asks if I want to leave a CD open or close it.
I've never left it open though. You probably will not be able to read it untill you close the cd though. I know music cds have to be closed before they can be played on a different computer.
cd's are less than 20 cents now. Close it...your data is safer.
i dont care about reading the info anytime soon, just need to have it backed up as having problem with computerOriginally Posted by cfiler
agree use a RW or USB stick. the sticks are like $15
Nero express which is bundled with most burners (in the UK at least) will leave it open by default. Im assuming you want it open for convenience not price so you can have all your files on one disc, you can test the software you have by burning some files then try to burn some more files to the disc
