harmony 880 remote. thing works great! now i can just hit one button that says "watch TV" and it turns all my components and TV to the right settings to watch TV. really cool!! im going to go to home depot tommorow and buy an IR light switch so i can use my remote to shut the lights off as well. and its easy to program, all done via USB and the internet. im formatting pictures now so i can put them on the remote haha.

Yeah, I definitely could use that. I have a Sony HD TV and theater system and 5 remotes. One for the tv, the amp, the dvd player, the vcr and a master that gets messed up all the time.

Just to watch tv I have to use the tv remote, then turn on the amp and set the mode to tv, then set the sound system I want, then go back to the tv remote to set the mode to amp and I'm good to go. Basically the same thing to watch a dvd, except all of the above and then include the dvd remote to mode in the amp and then back to the tv to mode in the dvd player. Pain in the butt.

Can't wait to get a new tv and system.

I like it. its nice. but remots like this have been around for years and years. and there ones a lot better then this one that are cheaper. but logitec is a great company and i wouldnt expect anything less then quality from them. soo goodluck with it man.

That's really nice. I need a new one. Right now I have; http://www.amazon.com/Sony-RM-AX4000.../dp/B000B6KXM8 . I got it a few years ago for around $200 and it's came down in price a lot! When I was in school I had a window AC in my room that I even programmed to work with this remote. BADASS.

That's really cool. I'd like to get a remote that could control everything. Go to "watch a movie" and it would turn the TV on, turn the DVD player , turn the stereo on and adjust the volume to a preset amount, turn the lights off in the room, ect.

Sounds really sweet. I'm definately jealous. I might have to pick something up like that.
