Do you check your paystub to make sure you got paid right?

I do and you should too! You never know if your employer is ripping you off!

Shockingly, I find an error on two of my paycheck last year. I reported it, they fix it and they apologize.

Hell yeah I do! I work in real estate so my pay is all commission based. Before closing I'll sit down and do the math to know exactly how much my check should be!

I also work in appraisals for 20+ banks that pay a month (or more) later so I have to keep a on going tab on my computer.

Hey now! I do some damn honest work!

I do know a lot of people that seem to be a con-artist in the same business. It's a shame too because it gives me a bad name.

Just messing with ya bro. I do see a lot of really bad appraisals though. I even saw one that they adjusted the comps 150%! I should have reported him to the dept of labor but I didnt.

Yeah you should have reported for sure. The less idiots out there the more work I get pushed to me! I've been strictly appraising foreclosed properties and refinanced properties now. It's so much easier.

Excel is a great program, I have it on my computer and on my phone so it can sync up to have a copy of my documents always on me.
