    London motocycle riders!

looking for some london and close area motocycle riders that could give me a hand in looking at 2nd hand motobikes online, i know what im looking for!
just dont know the UK prices and which bikes off the net would be worth looking at in person when im in UK. looking at all the aprilia rs125's on this website.
comparing to switzerland whereu cant find any good 125s or 250s these are excellent prices used compared to new, if any one can give me guidence and direction i would love to know where to look.

Foska after reading your story about your race in the subaru in the rain going 160 miles an hour, I am pretty confident that you would kill or seriously hurt yourself on a bike... May want to reconsider, or at least take safety classes on how to ride, maneuvers, etc.

160 miles is safe on a decent euro highway, not raining that heavy but road is wet and still feels just like dry, im actually going to sell my car if i can get a job in amsterdam or london and move. so i wont really need a car in amsterdam and it would get stolen and in london they have right hand drive and mines left. so i think the subaru will be sold in 07 maybe or sit in a garage. no way could i get a motobike up to 80miles let alone faster dont think id have the balls to go 60 mph for the first month or so.

Good, I rode for 8 years on dirtbikes, and then took the class and actually learned quite a bit about the differences between street and dirt bikes, as well as how to handle myself in emergency situations. It was probably the best $200 I have spent because that class saved my life on two seperate occasions already.

my bro just got a aprilia rs50, great on and off road bike. in may when he is 14 he can ride it on the road. its great. its as big as all the 125 2 strokes like sx rm cr kx ect... aprilia have a real strange way of naming there bikes. like the aprilia rs125 (road sports bike) how all same kw torque ect as all the 250s like ninja and cbr, plus all i hear is the best in handeling.

I visited a few years ago when I was thinking about going to Scottsdale Culinary Institute but I couldn't tell how reputable the place was. It's still a thought of mine all the time since I enjoy cooking and have taken a few culinary classes before.

This is considered THE place to look for used bikes in the UK. You wont be going very fast on it in london the traffic is gridlock most of the time and there are speed cameras everywhere, the M23/A23 from London to Brighton has no cameras on it as far as I know its a nice blat to the coast on clear day and after 8pm.

im looking at london or amsterdam, prefer amsterdam but london would be pretty sick too. yeh i can speed down to brighton to disterb perfectbeast at work then shoot back up to london and make it home for dinner!

I like the looks of the rs125... I would have thought that it would be more dirtbike styled. Hard to believe that bike is not packing much HP or Torque from its looks.

Dude, you're buying a scooter. 125 cc's ? That's a moped engine. You're not going to be passing too many people on the autobahn with that thing.
That's probably a good thing though.

I just went head on with a truck that was driving the wrong way and lived to tell about it. I'm not done with bikes just yet, but dude, you've gotta be careful. Maybe a 125 is good for you.

With an aftermarket can I think they will do a ton still, not my type of bike though, too light and fluffy.

aprilia rs125 is 37hp. it is faster then any cbr250 or ninja250 (stock) and handels alot better. just aprilia have a strange way to do their bikes. 125cc and same hp as all the other 250cc? dont see whats the problem with it.

0-60 mph in 6.5 seconds? sure its no 600 or 1000 but its a real hard bike in the 250 range. in france they are restricted to 17hp and in switzerland they are not so i will have to go to switzerland 2morow and look cause i aint going anything under a 35 hp.

but yeh just so yall know it is a 125cc but its quicker then any ninja or cbr 250 and im not over exagerating. look at the specs. its quiet alot of machine for a 125.

Theyre not bad if you like that sort of thing they are fast and flickable consisering its only a 125... what licence do you have, I dont know about France or Switzerland but in the UK young bikers are stuck with a 125 or at least a certain HP for a while, Im not sure exactly cos it was years ago I took my bike test before all the crappy laws came in.

  34. #34
yeh stuck to 25kw, in switzerland and 11kw in france. so i will definetly get swiss registerd and bought if i can. 25kw = roughly 37hp and thats 0-60 in 6.5, wonder what the 0-60 is with the 11kw.
