loco tatt in usa, opinions plz

well i got my tat about 3 weeks ago and i love it, but the problem is.
over here spanish people are different, i know alot of real spanish people, who were born and lived in several spanish countrys, they love me and i have great friends and im good and they do not take offence to my tattoo they all give it props and respect it and all is good,

but i can imagen being in LA and some wannabe gang banger, who cant speak more then 10 words of spanish , who never been to a spanish speaking country let alone have any real spanish blood, being offended by my tattoo, i can imagen the trouble this tattoo could bring me in america, anywhere, the mall a bar a club the beach, too many wannabe gangsters out there that i asume would want to kick my ass let alone some kill me, what do you think, would like honest opinions on it, i never regret this tattoo, but i find there will be people that will cause problems just because they can, thats the problem with america i find.

any spanish/latino people in america gimma a honest outlook on it, and non spanish do so too, i love LA, been there a few times, but i dont know how friendly of a place it will be, let alone i want to go to newyork, just somthing that come to my mind and i think its fair to say i might cop alot of ass kickings.

I think it's a ridiculously stupid spot to get a tattoo but it's not going to get you into any kind of fight. IF you visit LA where the hell are you staying? Most tourist places are nowhere near any area that you'll see "Wannabe gang bangers".

well i visit there this year hopefully but i would love to live in america within the next 5 years while im younger, just curious, for example i love going down to long beach, having lunch hanging on the beach doing nothing but relaxing, just curious, what people would think, i could easily justify why i would get a spanish word on my neck not being direct spanish decent, but you know how people are these days, too many tough guys trying to snatch the sunlight, little guy pushing a big guy in the club in another thread just showing off, what happens when i see some real hard headed spanish people who feel the need to prove themself. and dont just pass this off and say it wouldnt happen because i beg to differ.

well minkster, i dont know too much about wanna be gansters, but i do alot of riding with motorcycle people. and i have learned that no matter how bad ass the guys you are around are, if you just keep a clear head and dont run your mouth. most people wont even bother you. i hope you understand what im talking about.... sometimes my words are not too elegante.

yeh mate i understand you, i also have the same problem with words. haha but yeh, theres nothing worse when your out by urself and theres a group of drunks looking for a reason to fight.

I don't think you would have a problem because you have a Spanish saying on your neck. Also a lot aren't of Spanish decent but there are a lot of Mexicans in LA that speak Spanish.

I don't see the tat itself causing a problem. But if i got in an argument with you i would bring the tat up and make fun of you.

Well, being Texas, which is now northern mexico. I dont have any tats, but...me and my friends, which most are mexican, dotn like the ones that come over here much. All they seem to do is try and cause problems. I get called cracker numerous times and my truck has been stolen 3 times....we never understood it, my friends and I....Ive even been denied jobs by Mexican employers, and probably cuz Im white, cuz my mexican friend, with no job experience, got the job...so...put 2 and 2 together. Anywho, dont know really why....I just dont understand people nowdays...I dont see why they would get mad about a "loco" tatt...it would probably be the fact that your in a predominatly hispanic location at the time, and your white...

Now Im not speaking of all mexicans....just to those who are these so called "gang bangers" and thugs......same goes with whites, blacks, whoever.....If I was in the KKK, which Im not, I wouldnt like black people, which is not true....just the way the world is, or moreso..."thugs" are. bunch of punks IMO.

judging americans in general by only knowing the city of los angeles is a rly bad idea. i used to live in LA and i hated it. the people that i had come acrossed were very into there selves, materialistic, and all about there own well being. there not out to help others or anything. i mean think about it though... there out in LA for a certain reason, not too many people move there for no reason at all. either models, actors, singers, dancers, fashion, etc etc etc. my point is... they have a one track mind and it's about doing anything they canto get to the point of fame.

and as far as long beach... shit, long beach i would think nobody would ever say anything about that tattoo. long beach is a pretty deverse place.

FYI- Cali should'nt be considered a place full of "wanna-be gangsters".. Real Sh*t goes around there.. One of my friends just moved there and he had to re-arrange his entire wardrobe. You dont want to be wearing blue in blood territory and vise versa..Just be careful where you go thats all im saying.

I think you will find that 99% of Mexicans are very friendly. When I was
younger about 20 or so I used to go talk to Mexicans in Spanish to learn
how to pronounce words. Later on I found that I was talking to gang
people. I was white and therefore not a threat. The biggest threat is
being ignored by the white chicks cause they think you are CRAZY.

im sure you would get beat up and made fun of plenty without your tattoo but yes, the tat will give people extra ammo to make fun of you. just get a tat of a swastica on your forehead and no one will bother you. also talking with a fake spanish accent (think scarface) will ensure no one makes fun of you.
