The shit hit the fan today boys

some of you may remember my struggle with custody of my son?? well i did mention that my ex was living like a dog and wasnt suitable for my son.

So i got advice fromthe police station asking if i didnt send him home as agreed on wed , would i get locked up. and guess wat im ok to do wat im doin so i didnt send him home and now the ex sent the police 2day.

they only came to make sure he was ok and since he is fine thre aint fuk al they can do.

hey good job bro. you are a parent as well. so the police cant do shit unless they see you as an unfit parent. but keep up the good work! and I hope everything works out for the better. Court for custody is a huge deal, and can get real messy. do your research and be prepared, your in for the long haul

I hope your not in california, because the family law mediator would have a field day with you. Mediation is such a joke in this state, they just keep passing my wifes case around, so in the last two months I've spent over 3 grand in lawyers and counseling. Her X beat him, and the mediator won't change custody because she friends with his lawyer. So what ever you do, make sure it can't rebound on you.

i live inthe UK. Sorry about ur situation. I think i have all my bases covered in that ihave more to offer him in the way of care, suppot, housing, education. etc. I read the guidlines that the court uses to decide cases like this and i came up tops on almost all of them. And that was without bin biest.

I can keep my son untill it goes to court and a ruling is made. But first it has to goto mediation which in the UK is volountary and any decision reached there is not legaly binding but its ment to be a way of saving legal aid cash from the state.

Anyway i will drag my feet as she didi last yr so il have him at least 4 month, in whic time he wil be settled in a school etc and court be reluctant to want to move him again

Salt water is next, I got a bigger tank for my 3 paranha's (that I keep at the house) they were getting too big for the 29 gallon so I bought them a 55 gal. They just look so happy It's the accesiories that run up the bill I have tax exempt liscense so that really cuts the bill Do you have fish in your office or at home? I have a 55 gal at the salon and it relaxes me and the customers. (had to put a no swatting and touching sign up because the fukers would scare the fish and leave finger prints )Saltwater, wow, live rock, protein skimmers, etc. it gets up there fast

real fast! f salt water! i had one when i was in my early 20'sexpensive everything, the fish are hard to maitain, everything dies so easy, the salt water rusted all the metal hinges in my bedroom and on my dressers. arghhhh, never again

i went back to fresh water, in my house. , i wouldnt put fish in either of my offices becasue my pateints and their kids are jerks. both offices are in the middle ofthe city and my pateints are the most outstanding citizens in any community if you get my drift. i know someone would piss me off by screwing with them. i had many multi color african cyclids, but i recently converted it to an oscar tank, i have 2 real big ones in their now., 29 high

I always thought that if I had divorced when my children were young, I would put them in the care of their father since he would be more fiancially able to care for them. Not that I would ignore them but it would be difficult for them to be with less. I would also have left my husband in the house where they were raised since I wouldn't want to uproot them from a lifestyle that they are use to.

Good for you taking charge of your child when your wife is not.
There was a guy in LI yesterday in the news, who went to the house of his soon to be divorced wife and said it was covered in feces and used toilet tissue and 2 dead cats. The toilets weren't working and neither was the heat. This was an middle class neighborhood. They were living in that filth. Imagine how this impacts his children. Supposedly him and his dad were sending money for utilities and the upkeep of the house but she wouldn't let him see the kids.

You have a 29 gal tank for the oscars? I have cicliads at the salon. I have an electric blue and I would put it up against alot of salt water species Salt water though still has the prettiest fish as a whole. Salt water though is corrosive

her house lacks the basic services you would expect. ie-washing machine, cooker, fridge, theres no carpets, beer stains on floor, my son only has bed cos i bought him one. The ex is in a lesbo relationship with an 18 yr old whos mum is pissd at her so threaten to put windows threw. The area is lets say "not policed" the kids walk about with kifes and bottles of vodka.

When me and my brother go collect him in his brand new car, one of us has to stay with the car lets just say that. Theres a lot more other shit as wel that id rather not go inot but thanks for the advice
