I just came off a cycle, so I am working on diet and supplementation. I am 28yo, 5'9, 175lbs. Planning to take protein, cell-tech hardcore, Aplodan, Pinnacle NOx2, BCAA, and hydroxycut hardcore. any recommendation guys?

forget the overpriced muscletec crap for a start. Buy some creatine Mono instead. If you want pre workout Buzz then ECA would be better and cheaper than hydroxycut. However if you want to run an NO supp (i wouldnt bother) then a stim will counteract it so choose one or the other. My suggestion for supps [post cycle or any other time would be Myogenx from protein factory. I am using currently with excellent results. I would also use creatine mono and a good isolate powder for pre post WO mixed with whichever carb you prefer (dex, oats whatever).
I Agree with perfectbeast, exept on the creatine mono part. I would look into the Creatine CEE (Ethyl Ester), because its transported better to the muscles. And the myogenx is a great idea, i used it during my pct, and damn it was awsome
i dont know the science behind this very well, trying to build on it. what's ECA? I will stick with the basics - whey protein, creatine, glutamine. add on myogenx.how bout BCAA? any partcicular brand of creatine you would recommend? diet wise, there is too much information out there, all I'm sticking with is no junk food. pretty much eat whatever. Brown rice, veg, beef, chicken, fruits, eggs. so long i get my energy. perhaps i could improve on this area too. need advise. thanks perfectbeast; k.biz.
BCAA's are "Branch chain Amino acids"
Heres a lil Info on them:
Sufficient Branch chain Amino acids, BCAAs, are necessary for optimum nitrogen retention & protein synthesis.
BCAA's make up one third of muscle protein.
BCAAs are anti-catabolic or they stop the break down of muscles protein / tissue during exercise.
BCAAs exert an anticatabolic effect by reducing the breakdown of protein, thereby protecting muscle tissue.
BCAAs help with nitrogen retention .. sufficient nitrogen is necessary to avoid catabolic muscle loss.
During hard exercise BCAAs are utilized by your muscles for optimum performance
BCAAs help preserve the glycogen in your muscle.
It is through this mechanism of glycogen retention that BCAAs provide optimum energy for your workout.
ECA stack is
Ephederine
Caffiene
Asprin
As many recomend this, i do not. i feel its to much stress on the heart, i feel that if your are dedicated enough andwith enough cardio you can accomplish just as much without the ECA, although the ECA does help many people on these boards, just my 2 cents.
As far as your diet, you might want to head over to the diet forum and list your diet and have it critiqued, just so u know what ur doing wrong. but no junk food is a good step in the right direction.
i see.... how bout the point that "running an NO supp, then a stim will counteract it so choose one or the other"?

i completely agree on the eca stack. in my opinion i hate how society abuses caffeine, and also the use of aspirin has also been ify lately... when i say ify i meen how studies has been back and forth on taking it daily, well on a long period. really i would just stick with the ephedrine, it works so well by itself, and also in moderation, and not abusing the product.Originally Posted by K.Biz
