Possible Blood Clot?

Ok so i was rubbing my ankles after a run today and on the bone on the inside of my foot i feel this hard bump. I examine closer and its in a large blood vein. Im freaking out because a blood clot can kill you. I'm making an appointment bright and early in the morning with the doc but i was just gonna see what yall thought or have had nething like this happen to them. thanks

blood clots in the leg usually happen behind the knee, and usually to sedentary people, not runners. Also the foot will swell and it will hurt (blood will back up behind the clot)
there are valves in veins that you can sometimes feel. I could be wrong but I would bet you don't have a clot unless you have clotting problems to begin with.

this is good to here...but i i have felt on this vein before and it has never been there so im not too sure its a valve
