My last cycle was in 2001, and I'm getting back up on the horse;
How much pain is normal the morning after an injection? I started my cycle yesterday; swabbed the bottle, the needle, and the injection site with separate alcohol swabs. Aspirated, checked to ensure I didn't hit a vessel, and shot it slowly. I didn't feel a thing when I injected , except of course the slight pressure. I chose my upper right quad. (Seems like during the glute injections back in the day I felt a sharp pain during initial stick, but I didn't feel ANY pain in the quad...weird.)
Anyway I woke up in the middle of the night and my leg was sore as hell. Tender to the touch around injection site and all up and down my quad. It's not really red, or hot; but it hurts like a MOFO to walk on it. I'm limping around like Fred Sanford after a swift kick to the twig n' berries. I have no other symptoms. Basically just feels like someone gave me a dead leg like back in high school, except the pain last longer than a few minutes. (C'mon, don't act like you don't know. You've had a deadleg before.)
When I cycled in the past I always took glute injections, and never had this much pain; at least not that I can remember.
I'm a little worried, but it also doesn't seem like an infection would happen that quick. It hasn't even been 24 hours yet. A hot bath makes it feel better. I haven't tested the theory, but I'd guess a nice sloppy BJ from Scarlett Johanson would make it feel better too.
All jokes aside, my questions are serious. As always I love this board, and appreciate your feedback.
Your thoughts??
Thanks bros!
