I would like to take this opportunity to introduce to everyone new Norwegian fitness professional, Monica Hoyer. Monica will be competing here in America this summer. I hope everyone who is able will take the opportunity to see her compete at the New York Pro Figure contest on July 14th, the Houston Pro Figure contest on July 21st, and finally at the Motor City Pro in Detroit on August 4th.
I had the pleasure of visiting with Monica (and her husband, Norwegian bodybuilding champion Paal Hoyer) just this past May when I was on vacation in Norway. Monica is as beautiful as a person as she is on the outside. She is as kind and sweet a person as any one would want to meet.
Briefly, Monica was born March 29, 1976. She is 5'3-1/2" tall and her off-season weight is between about 132lbs and 143lbs. Her competition weight is between 121lbs and 125lbs.
She is two time Norwegian National champion, 1st place 2006 European Women's Body Fitness Champion in her weight class and 1st place overall ! She also placed 3rd in the World Amateur Women's Body Fitness Championships 2006.
