    Training the lats

When I train the lats (seated row, and bent over row). I Do feel it alot more in the lats on the negative part, I almost dont feel it in the positive part.
I hold the weights on the negative part (really streching and pulling the lats).
If I row "fast" I don`t feel it at all.

Which way do you guys row?
And how do you train the back for thickness (upper mostly), because the deads are building the downpart really good.

By these questions I am not asking which movement to use for building width and depth, its more of a question HOW you do the movement for the most results.

Slow? Fast? Slow with a sqeeze on the top? Fast with a sqeeze? You get it

I do all my reps for rowing motions like I'm just flexing my back pull both arms back w/o any weight even just sitting in your chair and get that contraction... now load 200lbs on a bar and hit it
