    Fertility???

Im 20 yrs old and I'm no expert on steirods but ive done 2 10 wk cycles of 500mg a wk test with pct last yr when i was 19 and ive been off for about 7-8 monthes. Im about to do another cycle with some decca and I was jsut woudnering I always hear that steriods can make infertile. Now I know 500mg a wk isnt that high of a dosage but is that really a risk with 500 a because my buddies always say not to worry about it until i do higher dosages but I plan on ding some pct theropy with clomid but i would definitly like to have some kids down the road and I just want to make sure that I'm not takign a big risk. THX a lot!

you have nothing to worry about. my test dosages are alot higher than 500mg. Ive been on for two years with necessary off time and my girlfriend got pregnant last month. Im not on anything right now and hl are pretty low and it still happened. I know people who have been on for the last 15 years taking up to 2g a wk. of multiple compounds and still have no problems.

you cant tell him he has nothing to worry about everyones different and things affect people in different ways, it is not likely that he will become infertile from 2 cycles but it can happen

I think there was trials in Europe with something around 1200mg Testosterone Decanoate a month and it made them "infertile" but they recovered within a few months of discontinuing. I can't remember the exact dose but it's around there. And they did make sure to say that it was just temporary...and it was also just test not deca. My $.02

Im not debating the fact that aas cant make you infertile but as far as I know from mine and friends experiences infertility is not permanent. But I could be wrong. does anybody have some first hand experience of permanent infertility.

The only first hand experience of permanent infertility is where I read in this interview here:

    http://www.*************/readArticle...ydra?id=856980

And i'm sure that guy is an exception, as he started juicing at 15 years old (he didn't know wtf he was doing). And when you juice that young, you can screw up your body really bad due to the fact that you're disrupting a growing and maturation process for your endocrine and reproductive system.

So I think it's safe to say that permanent infertility can occur only if one uses steroids too early (in their teens).

I've read a lot of places, and even read a study in muscular development, that there had yet to ever be a case where permanent infertility happened...As you know, basically since test and other steroids suppress your natural test, it's like a male birth control...sure you can still get pregnant while on, but it lessens the chance...scientists and doctors are actually working on ways to use test as solely for birth control for men.

Hey man, I was just reading this article, and it didn't say he was infertile at all...his sperm count was really low compared to normal, but that doesnt' make him infertile...there's still active sperm in there...so, even like women on birthcontrol can still get pregnant...the same concept there...just makes it harder usually
