If you can, make sure the blade you get is made in GERMANY. They make the best ones, and if possible also make sure it's made with Sheffield steel, they're the best. Get yourself a strap and a sharpening stone, and that is all you will ever need for the rest of your life. I'm so glad I don't have to drop like $40 a month to replace blades anymore. After that, you'll be a complete badass as well. A straight razor is the last step to becoming an ultimate badass, lol.
