Hey AR people, whats going on? got a new topic here? im 21 and i havent dated anyone since my senior year in high school.... I got this one shy girl in one of my courses i have sorta been flirting with all semister and i wanted to ask her out on date with out coming on to strong...I think the movies is a good 2nd date not 1rst....any ideas on a good first date....and its not like out thier yet im trying to just get my foot in the door and get back on the dating scene...go ahead and make a list 1 being ur best advice and 10 being last place.....ladys if you read this feel free to speak your mind....

shes only 19 so drinks is out of the question lol.....and i already know shes a freak we sorta gotta a history...from 5 years ago...i met her 1 day and havent seen her since ... till now!!!. i was thinkin lunch mayb or the coffe thing...but i dont think she drinks coffee....MY nerves are shot lol and its not like i am even close to a virgin either .......

i took two 19 year olds and one 20 year old to a club a couple weekends back..seriously though..just go get some food or have some coffee or something..just go somewhere where ya can sit and talk

First date should be very casual.

Go out for a lunch type thing. coffee shop, tea house. ya know, just laid back, relax, casual. Not some romantic candle lit dinner and movie.

um, lets see...the beach possibly, go mini golf (putt putt)...

Just a couple other things to keep in mind:

You should decide together on where yall wanna go, what yall wanna do, but the date should be closer to her house, than yours. If your picking her up, be 5 minutes late, (ya know girls and getting ready) no more, no less. and always be a gentleman, i.e. opening doors, etc...

Dont spend alot of money. Spending alot of money on a first date seems like yr trying to buy her affection...thats a no no

give her compliments, but not the same ol "you have a pretty smile" "you have pretty eyes" more like "you have great eyelashes" and compliment her intelligence....

and if the date has gone well, lips must come into play, even if its a peck.

white teeth, fresh breath, unchapped lips....

insist on ordering desert,

tip well, but dont be to slow or fast about it. Just get the check, divide the number by 10, then double it, throw down the tip

when in doubt, hold hands

I'm not saying that it has to end in sex. Hell if she is half decent it won't, but why put yourself in a position where the idea is basically impossible. Most women know if they want to sleep with you in the first 30 minutes. It just depends on whether you convince them to follow through with their thuoughts or not. What if the girl is a ho? What if she does want to sleep with this dude right off the bat? Lunch isn't going to help that at all. I say dinner or some kind of evening event at the very least.

man i dont know who or where you date. Not saying all put out the first night. But yes girls know what guys are thinking. FYI alot of girls are thinking the same. Girls also enjoy sex and like to get laid.

You guys put way too much thought into this. Dont act all mechanical and planned out. Just be real....

First date is always best if its not a real first date.

Bowling is always really fun to tell you the truth best bet is grab a group of girl and guy friends and plan something with them to go bowling one night. Then bring it up casually because you already have plans

if shes interested she'll go to hang out with you and its not all pressured for her. plus you can drink there for really cheap and if she cant what ever not a big deal

Then you can always duck out a little earlier than the rest while your there and say your hungry or somthing and go to a different place to eat with just the two of you I wouldnt take her anywhere special though.

Ok lol i love all the advice!!! The point of this forum was dating lol.... I Know how to get laid LOL(it is easy to hook up at parties but a lot of those girlls i would never take home to mommy and daddy (Skanks).... but this time is different boys..... I aint in love i just wanted to get to know her and in time relationship might happen... I just wanted a good idea for a first date lol.....Ill prolly take her to get a coffee at starbucks and chill and go from there... my next class with her is on FRIDAY and she didnt say YES yet i gotta ask her lol .....Ill let you guys know on Friday how it went....

The best advice I can give you is don’t do it. Dating doesn’t work at any age less than 25. Just have her and her friends meet up with you and your friends at a party. Or find her a fake id and meet her out at the bars.
