    When they were running the experimental CCNA class in highschool, I was the first generation to use their curriculum and the hardware they sent us, along with their network build.

    At the time, there was absolutely no software emulation we could run to play with a mock network. We constantly had to restore the IOS in the routers and start over. Our teacher didn't like it when we purposely tried to crash the routers by using vulnerabilities in that version of the IOS. Ah, the good old days.

    Kids these days have it so easy...
