my supplier has to get payment in bankok thailand and im getting ready to ship payment western union in 2 weeks so hopefully im not one of the chosen ones to be scammed, i see the other wester union thread but wanted to know if this is how the transaction goes or should i be cautious? anyway i got him and sent my email details and he contacted via email all the time and is it normal to never know where they r from or anything about them, they sent a price list i told him what i wanted and he sent me an order invoice and instructions on where to send by western union is that how it always goes?

yeah i agree, not trying to get into trouble so sorry mederators ive just done alot of homework and spent alot of time debating this process and im finally ready and just didnt want to be shot down after all the hours put into research because of something stupid that would be obvious to someone with alot of expierence

^^post more and you'll be able to get a source check. Until then, i would suggest you hold off on buying from a source you don't know or trust.

We've just about all stopped doing checks for obvious reasons, so posting more may not help much.

It's funny how many people get mad that we won't do checks, but one of the reasons I stopped is protect them. So many places were either compromised or turned scammer, I don't want to vouch for someone who used to be good to go, just to have someone get scammed or worse.

amen to that as well, that's the other reason. sadly when someone wants a check they seldom take those reasons into consideration.

How could this hurt you or anyone though?

If someone asks me "hey, does that guy over there sell EDITED?" and I say "that's what I've heard"

well if it's a cop asking I certainly have not broken any laws. and if we are talking about feds online, if they ask they already know so your not revealing anything they do not know.

can they use the statement from your online persona as evidence to get a warrant on the source? I'm not familiar with how the drug laws interface with the internet, if this is so then I can understand for sure. But if not why in the hell would a fed ask anyway?

In real live life cops can not use such information to go and get a warrant to search a house. They must get the snitch to do a controlled buy before they get the warrant. Simply snitching on a source is not enought for the cops to do anything legally.

I just can't imagine a fed asking if so and so is a legit source without having accurate information already.

What am I missing? The rules about recreational drug references for one thing...

When you are in the position to do checks, do as you wish. As far as I'm concerned there is simply no reason for me to take that chance anyway. It has been stated time and time again that this is not a source board, we have the most comprehensive collection of topic related info you are likely to find in one place, and some of the brightest minds in the field here. If someone is here just to find a source or a check, they should go elsewhere.

That's why I'm here. I just like to know other people's perspectives on the risks of doing so, hence my question. I'm not advocating any source checks.

Back when I did checks, I only vouched for places I had personal knowledge of.
