lasix for edema?

i am getting a lot of water retention from my current cycle. can i take a diuretic, such as lasix, to pee off this extra fluid? right now i am running a test. cyp only cycle at 600/ week + arimidex 0.5 mg/day + avodart 0.5 mg/day.

i was thinking of adding 20 mg lasix in the morning plus the necessary potassium that accompanies.

Have you taken lasix before? If not, you need to know that it is one of the strongest and most dangerous diuretics.

Why not go with aldactazide or aldactazide with spironolactone? Your cycle is low on the dosage side so you shouldn't need such a strong diuretic.

I've had gyno since I was very young and spiro has never bothered me. I mainly used it before a show or at the end of a cutting cycle for no more than 15 days. However, if worried then don't use it.

Hydrochlorothiazide has also worked well for me.

I do not recommend using any diuretic long term. Water retention can be controlled through sodium restriction. Kind of difficult to bulk without some water retention

Did you try increasing the arimidex? Using lasix or hctz can be dangerous if you don't watch what you are doing.

the reason why lasix is dangerous is because it can deplete your potassium. i would be cautious. most of the time when people are prescribed lasix they will many times get a potassium supplement. this is not to be taken lightly. electrolyte imbalances can be quite dangerous.

yeah- i started taking lasix yesterday- 20mg in am. i also took 20 meq potassium to replace what was lost. i didn't feel any different but i had to pee like 6 times in the morning. no change in appearance yet, but i'll update

just interested, how are you splitting your cyp shots? i'm just a novice but can't splitting your shots to twice or three times a week give u more stable blood plasma levels and help to reduce bloating?

right now i've been doing it twice per week. that's a good point though- i wonder if splitting it into three times per week would help at all. anyone have experience with this?

dudes- this has totally worked! Taking 20 mg lasix + 20 meq potassium in am- all bags/edema is gone. sweet.

better than mask the problem with a diuretic, why not take care of the problem directly?
