Anyone use anything like this? Fitness software..

    http://www.fileden.com/files/2006/5/30/43386/FitDay.zip software

    http://www.fitday.com/Pc/PcHome.html?gcid=5 site

I just put all my stats/logs in today and was SHOCKED to see one little sandwich I had was 546 calories, 12gms fat, 81 carbs, and 29 protein.

It was a sweet and sour chicken sandwich with 3 slices of white bread.
I use to to count calories but got tired of reading labels, adding things up with a caculator etc. Noticed I've fallen off my diet once again.

But I def recommend this software. Calculates and monitors everything, quick to use and has a huge food database. Check it out, and if you already have something similar what is it & how do you like it?

I've used Fitday for about a year or more, I love it. My friends make fun of me because I write down everything I eat when we go out so I can enter it when I get home. I just think "yeah, laugh it up lardass" lol.

/\ Honestly it has quite a few features I haven't even gotten around to using yet.

I know it tracks weight goals, daily calories consumed vs calories burned, activity logs, food logs (calculates mostly everything for you) and all kinds of other cool stuff.

I love the fact that just by opening this thing everyday and seeing everything in front of my face that I did or ate yesterday, my mood, journal entries, etc is like the most motivational thing in the world. I love it so far and will prob use it for a looong time.

You may want to double check because I noticed as I was entering in the food log it said I consumed around 6,000 calories from a SINGLE iced tea drink and I noticed the unit numbers I entered was wrong at which point I just fixed it.
I don't think its wrong, just double check the way you entered the data.

    Cool, wish I knew sooner.

Only thing that bothers me just a little bit is I wish there was a section I could upload and organize pictures for different weeks.

Been using fitday for almost 4 years now. It's been a big help in keeping me straight with the diet.

I also have "calorie king" downloaded on my treo so I can keep a journal while away from a computer.

I'm assuming you have a legit version lol.

Good job, has to be the only software in the world I can't get my hands on.

What do you do when you eat something that isn't in the list. It doesn't seem to let you enter your own values

Nah, that name and code doesn't work.
You have to download the patch, paste it in the program directory, and run the patch.

Then, open up crosstrainer 6, and enter any name and registration code, and it will work

Click on the "nutrition" tab on the top left hand corner, then click on "foods list". This allows you to add foods and their nutritional values.
