I second that Dirty call out......I know it is not necessary, but it only takes a min or two, and costs almost nothing.....I guess i am jus cautious when it comes to stuff like that.....But since i brew all my gear, i dont have to worry about tranfering dirty UGL....Its all on me....

I agree again. I would absolutely 100% filter when transferring into a vial. But for the original poster, you will have a much easier time with a .40 millipore filter rather than a .22. Also, always buy extras, they come in handy.
