Question on gauges of needles

Can a 20 Gauge 1 1/2 in be used? For oil based and if it does does it hurt alot more?

Also 1 1/2 in. are used for Glutes.

Mind you its a 22 or 23 Gauge for glutes however.

22 or 23 Gauge, 1.0 inch is ideal for injections into the delts/quads.

I usually use a 22 but i ran out and my place is dry but I have a 20 lol. I never used a 23 but when I can find one I will. I do go into the glutes so a 1 in will work there?

i use 22 ga 1.5 inch for all injections....

I found that inserting 1.5 inches in my delts...starting the injection and slowly withdrawling the needle while i inject...completing the injection when the needle is left in about 3/4 inch decreases pain and soreness during and post injection...

^^^ bro you need a 1.5" to use on glutes....ive seen guys with using 1" needles saying the oil comes back out after injecting. but then again, everyones body is different. i have a hugeass so i gotta use the 1.5"

Yes...you can MOST DEFINATELY use that needle on your glutes...that wasn't a hijack...it was a pertinent question that lends to the question orriginally asked in this thread...

You should use the needle that is best suited for the particular muscle you are using...Not all peoples quads are the same size...I use a 1.5" on my delts but 1's on my glutes and pecs simply because I feel it disperses in my muscle better at that particular depth...

You would never get the oil out & its too short, risking an injection in your subQ layer but if you got a tight but, you'd probably get away with it.

Its all about the 25G pins, anythinless I only use for drawing now.

I use 21g for drawing & 23g for shooting. I don't do anything but glutes.

ive used from 21-25g and 25 is my fav. only down side to 25g is it takes longer to inject. of course this can be a good thing being that some people thing it is better to inject slow.

You most certainly can use a 25 ga. to inject....

Secondly...if you inject into your subcutaneous or fat layer with a 1 inch pin YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS using aas...1inch of fat would equate to a 30 + BF%
