I agree. While the kids aren't home get rid of it and say it ran away. Once you get them a new dog in a few weeks for xmas, they will forget about the old poodle.

man thats ****in bullshit. you're mother in law took on the responsibility of that dog, and she already knew what kind of environment she could provide for it and if it wasnt suitable she had no right taking it in. i say bring that poodle back to her house and tell her to square off a little ring for em all. if that old poodle gives a **** about his remaining years then he can fight for them.
