    ghosts

    anyone belive in afterlife? anyone ever have any kind of experiance with a ghost or haunting? i will tell you why in asking this question after i get some responses

    At times i do, but overall i think it comes down to you're religious views and your views on death.. If you believe in afterlife then you believe in ghosts/spirits and what they may do, if you don't well then it's just coincidence when strange things happen i guess

    I don't. But, one time a gf of mine recorded some "white noise" on her cell phone. I'm pretty skeptical but it freaked me out a bit.

    I can't say I am a believer, but I remember when I was kid I rang the bell from my house and the building door opened and when I got to my the apartment the door was also open. When I entered I saw my dog but no one else. I was looking for my brother thinking he was just having some fun but the apartment was empty.

    Later a painter that went over and that was into the ocult said there was "something" in that apartment.

    when i was younger I had an experience where I seen a small child walk into a closet and I got up and checked the closet and nothing was in there.....true story

    I personally have never seen anything. I wish I did.
    People around me swear by some things....but who knows.

    There was this one freaky message on our answering machine once. Probably the closest I'll believe in any form of "ghost"

    i've had some weird experiences before, like the other night i was laying in my apartment and listening to the sounds of the night to help me get to sleep, then all of the EVERYTHING got quiet and i got a really weird feeling, like a buzzing all over my body, then i jerked really hard and it was weird, like waking up really suddenly, but i was awake to begin with

    and some of the other stories are much worse, as in stigmata worse

    I'm unsure as well. I think the mind can play some crazy games, but i'll indulge with my experience. A few years ago when i was sleeping, I woke up in the middle of the night and thought I saw a "glowing figure" or light i suppose, next to my bed. I remember trying to touch it with my foot to make sure i wasn't hallucinating. I was still in that half-asleep-half-awake state of mind, so I'm not totally convinced. Nonetheless, I was a bit freaked at the time and don't rule out the possibility. I still get a little freaked when going into a dark basement by myself.

    They exist. Two times another person was present and can attest. I get the chills thinking about it.

    First time
    My grandmother passed when I was 16. Hardest thing I've ever dealt with, amazing woman. God bless her. Shortly after she passed I was at her house. The entire house smelled strongly of flowers for about an hour, very random. I'm talking fresh flowers, not some areosol spray. I can't say for sure but I believe it was related somehow to her passing. This smell was in every area of the house, super strong, then dissapeared instantly. I'm not just talking about one room.

    Second time
    I was playing basketball with a friend late at night. We were at a church near our house. It was midnight an NOBODY was in the church, it was locked and no cars in the lot. As we were walking home my friend glanced back and noticed 2 glowing dots near a window, they were red and appeared to be moving. We moved closer (about 30 yards) and they moved across the window. We got about 20 yards and the disappeared. Could it have been something else? Maybe but there are many stories about this church that other people have witnessed. I'm not talking about them because frankly, they scare me and I believe them. Keep in mind I'm not the type of person that is easily convinced.

    I spoke with a colleage of mine who witness a 'miracle'. She attended a religious ceremony. Everyone in attendance was asked to brink a single rose petal. At the end of ceremony every single rose petal (not having been given to another peron, kept in the individuals pocket the entire time) had a marking on it. One was a cross. Another was the virgin Mary. There were many others. She showed me the petal. Clear as day there was a dark image of a woman praying in the center of the petal. It was awesome.

    Ever heard of Padre Pio?
    Explain that.

    I'm not looking to defend or debate my experiences. I know what I saw and other people would attest to it.

    I believe in the Afterlife. I would assume all Christians would too, otherwise how could they be Christians?

    I do not believe in ghosts as such. But I do believe in the Unseen, including the Angels and demons. I believe that the general rule is that these things are a matter of the Unseen, and therefore we cannot see or experience it.

    I don't believe in the Afterlife but i'm undecided about ghosts. I don't think ghosts are people that have failed to cross over to the afterlife, I mean damn does everything unexplainable have to do with religion? I think "ghosts" are natural phenomena that can't be explained by Science....yet.
