Don't you hate those phone calls from family and friends: "hey, I just bought a TV, couch, dresser, bed etc....can you help me move it in?" That is the the one con of working out and being strong, lol.

You have friends? Share???
after I help move it I break in later and steal it
is your dad moving anytime soon
not that i'm aware of
That's a big step in the male relationship, it's like going all the way
Haha I would never do it for free.
The problem also follows you wherever you go. If you're at a function and furniture needs to be moved around (as one example), people all look in your direction, nay, people EXPECT you to freely volunteer your manual handling labour for the benefit of others.
Yeah I also have a long wheelbase F-350 ute and I,m big and strong. ha ha
ANYTIME someone asks me to help move or insinuates that I help I say "absolutley, do you have a pen handy? Let me give you the number to the guys I use, thier rates are very reasonable." That conversation ends the way I want it to everytime.
Awhile back I had a 58" projection screen and upgraded to a LCD. I asked a couple people to help me move the proj. out to the garage but noone ever came around... till i moved the fkr myself.. then it was like "o i woulda helped you move that..."
I always tell them I have chruch......
I tell them my family is in town.......
I tell them it my birthday.....
I tell them brown ninja's grandma died
I tell them I have a doc appt.....to get my colon cleanse
I tell them I have mental health appt..
I tell them my car broke down on the way.......
I tell them i got robbed
I tell them i got car jacked
i tell them my house got broken into.....
I just tell them to piss off...
Lmao, gotta get something out of it!Originally Posted by Brown Ninja;44***87
It's even worse if you happen to have a truck, too.
This happens to me all the time.
When I say no, I'm busy or whatever, the next question is
"well, can I just borrow your truck"?
Or when your boys take you along to run interference at the bar in case they get into a scrape, which they are much more prone to do if they think you'll back them up lol
