    Bodybuilding on TV

Why is it that bodybuilding is never televised? Is it because it's a drug-based sport?

You mean unlike baseball, hockey, ect...?
Just never had that mass appeal that let it go mainstream. What amount of people really know what it takes to make a champion bodybuilder? People don't know about it, so can't apreciate it.

People don't understand it. and the whole roids and sports thing right now is at a fever pace, so putting it on TV would probably just bring negative attention to it.

Me personally, I wouldn't be able to sit and watch guys posing for however long a competition lasts. I would rather see a documentary on the sport like Bigger, faster, stronger, or one of the pros DVDs
