signs of infection

i did a shot into my shoulder there everything was fine had a shower wen i got out it started to hurt alot now it feels on fire and where i injected feels numb to touch... i injected 2 hours ago hardly infected or anybody had this... area slightly red thanks

It takes several days for infection to manifest....

Area is red due to a forein substance being injected into your body...

or

Slight hystamine reaction

or

Flushing

Bottom line....to early to tell....but dont worry...shots hurt and are sore...this is not atypical.
