I take fairly good care of myself but something I notice is my hair is ALWAYS really flaky if I rub it. I'm 20 and even when I wash it thoroughly, then condition thoroughly, still flaky as hell as soon as my hair dries.
Anyone know why![]()

I think its called DANDRUFF !!!
might want to try a dandruff shampoo
or it could be psoriasis
I'll look up psoriasis, thanks - and yeah I know its dandruff but it kinda seemed worse then again I wasnt constantly using anti-dandruff shampoo. Any idea on what the best ones are for ..'severe' dandruff?
It doesnt look dry though, and its not flaky - only if I rub it etc
I dont think it is psoriasis or dandruff, I think it is because you are getting younger. I have posted on this in the qestion and answer forum before. When you get younger your hair is ALWAYS really flaky if you rub it. The only thing is to be 24 again..
pityriasis capitis can be easily combatted with Selsun blue max twice a week. Not a problem usually. It is fairly common and will usually not be a nagging problem if you stay on top of it. the steatodes version where the flakes are greasy or waxy can be treated with nizoral.
I got three words, HGH (fountian of youth) It is really the only answer I can come up with for the regression.
Because either way I was going to cycle and I've noticed that if your under 21 you dont get an answer - even if I waited until I was 21 (which is soon) I still probably wouldnt have gotten solid answersBy putting my age as 24 I got the correct answers therefore I could cycle correctly. However my BF% was a typo I'll admit that, should be ~20% not ~10%.
Thanks higherdesire, will look into those!
Well like I said, I wanted the correct cycle and either way I was going to start. My age doesnt control the fact whether I'm ready to or not, I felt I'd reached my potential so of course I'm going to do what it takes to get solid advice on the cycle itself.
And I havent given anyone bullshit adviceAnyway not gonna argue about it, enjoy your day fellas

You felt you reached your potential????? and what makes YOU the expert on that ??
do you have X-rays to show your growth plates are fused, or do you just FEEL they are , or don't you care that much about your body and future health
see, that is part of the thing with YOUNG guys, their mental maturity is just NOT where it needs to be MOST of the time.
Sure you got correct cycle advice, but was it the best advice for you? NOPE
oh well, GOOD LUCK with whatever you do!!!
Thanks
at 20 y/o and about 215 with 20% bf i doubt you reached your potential but back to your original question if regular dandruff shampoo not help try nizarol 1% it is otc you would need a script ot web-site for 2%.
Oh im so pissed i missed this, how can anyone ever be given the correct advice if their lieing about their age like this.. Its a slap in the face to the guys on here that work hard on giving solid advice for free. Hollywood you should hang your head in shame...
Was your hair less. Sounds like your scalp is dry as shit from too much soap. Wash your hair every 3 or 4 days and on other days just rinse.
20 % bf and natural potential? lol
Did you know that test cyp makes skin fall off your head? so more flakes are in store for you my friend lol
Just for the record FVCK ANTI-DANDRUFF shampoos. They do not work and lot of times make things worse.
I am not an expert but this is my personal dandruff story.
I had dandruff for like 6 years and tried Selson Blue, Head and Shoulders and Nizoral. And like clock work, EVERYTIME I used these products and my hair dried, when I scratched my scalp *THE DANDRUFF WAS WORSE*.
I'm not sure if theres a difference between dry scalp or dandruff, but when you have dry scalp then use these products you suck even more oil out of your head making skin shed quicker.
Despite the miracle active ingredients that kill the w/e the causes dandruff, it doesn't kill shit.
The only thing that has ever worked for me and continues to work is this.
First brush your hair thoroughly when its dry to get as much dry dead skin out as possible. Then take petroleum jelly and rub a bit into your scalp and brush it down in your pores with a brush.
That will keep your head dandruff free for about 2-3 days. Do it every other night before you go to bed and you'll never have dandruff during the day. Its the only thing that works for my dandruff.
You seriously out vasaline in your hair?
Most dry scalp is caused by harsh shampoos washing all of the natural oils out of your hair and scalp. Just don't wash your hair so much. Most of us are showering twice a day with work outs. If you wash your hair every time you shower, yolu will probably dry out your scalp. Skip the vasaline and cut down to washing your hair once or twice a week. Other than that just rinse it. Willing to bet that if you do this after a couple of months dry scalp will disappear forever, and your hair will look better.
