Again, not trynig to be a smartass here, it just seems as though many people have started at 18-21, without any problems having arisen. I've read that post a while back, by the way.

Yes you are right, but if you look hard enough you will find horrific threads written by those that started to young.

    Why take the risk...

Well, I don't completely understand your statement that "they haven't had any problems"? Do you mean after a year, after five years, or twenty years? Do you mean they haven't experienced low libido, ED, hairloss, general hormonal problems, injury problems with their bone and muscle structure or any other of the miriad afflictions that can plague the human body. I think you might want to research that a little further. I'm not trying to be mean, just honest. At your age you can lift, eat and gain plenty of size, and do it all natural. Why would you want to pass that up? T

If you can't break 170 after 4 years of training I'd say go play ping pong, or take up nintendo.

he's 5'7, and at 18 he hasn't had the advantage of peaked testosterone as long as someone who started training at 20+ years old would have

maybe, but that would mean he started at age 14, what 14 year old that you know has a dialed in training routine and keeps it going year round

on the same note, he stated he's only been eating properly for 1 year, so i would assume that means he has been taking his training/dieting seriously for one year

meaning that he has effectively only been training properly for a little over a year

Exactly Phate. Only for the last year have I been dieting properly, which is the MAIN component of any workout regimen. From May last year until now, I've put on about 25-30 pounds, and I'm not that fatty, as stated above. I guess I should rethink this whole thing. It just seems that I can't put on lean weight, has to either be a bulk or a cut, and with summer time coming, I'd rather get cut, despite wanting to put on weight. Maybe I should toy around with my diet and see if I can find a range that will allow me to put on lean mass.
