    Abs in the dry sauna.

Alright heres the deal, me and my buds run 2 miles every monday wedsnday and friday then do pushups, abs, stretching etc teusday and thursday. early in the morning at about 4am.

then when we get off duty at 5pm we go hit the weights, then do a 15 minute hardcore ab session in the dry sauna. now i just got to this duty station, so ive only done the sauna ab session 3 times.

we get into the sauna the first time(dry sauna, hot as fvck) and then they just go ape sh!t drill seargent on me to do all these ab workouts. after 10 minutes im nearly dead at this point, thinkin wtf... people could die doin this shit. After the fact they say welcome to our workout routine, you like? ...lol

does this sound safe? they said there bumpin it up to 20 minutes tomorrow. wtf..lol. with all the working out we do in one day this all seems a bit over kill dont you think? sounds like a heat stroke in the making!!!

    not a smart idea.

are figuring that it will speed up fat loss around your abs?

you cant localize fat loss. Doing squats will give you fat loss over your stomach better than doing crunches will.

If you are going to workout in a sauna, and i'm not a doctor, its safe, just make sure to stay hydrated. Staying hydrated helps aid in fat loss anyway, so you should be drinking alot in there.

Go with live water or VitaRain from Costco unless you really want the sugar and added salt in Gatorade or better yet just drink water.

Sounds like some Dumb guy done it once realised it was hard for people to do and decided that it would be fun to make people do it why they laugh in the back room at how red you are and that you nearly passed out, Complete waste of time.
