Wow that's really helpful but now I am paranoid as hell ! But that is exactly what my arm looks like...I think I might have a penicillen shot around here maybe I will have the wife inject me. Crap I hope this goes away.

If you believe that you have an abcess you need to see a dr to be safe. I have seen to many on here try to take an anti biotic to treat themselves with no results.

There are specific antibioticcs to treat certian things. If you take the wronge one you will be wasting your time and possibly chancing your health.

It is not worth the risk.

Yeah on second thought will just keep an eye on it, if not getting better by Sunday will be at the doc first thing monday. It seems not quite so red and warm as this morning but perhaps the area is a little larger-maybe it is spreading out and dissipating, at least I am hoping so!
