The length of the needle

I've bought quite a lot of 23g needles (1 inch in length) for my enanthate injections. Aren't those too short? Just don't wanna see the gear leaking back out of the injection spot after the removal of the needle...

I use 1.5" for glutes, 1" for everywhere else.
