If a rude belligerent buyer on ebay completely misread the whole posting, and is bitching about the item being too expensive AFTER she already bid the highest and won + recieved the item, can you tell her off if she wants a refund when it was listed "as is"? Theres a lot to it but can ebay take your money after the listing is finished? This woman sounds honestly like a compulsive buyer almost out of control and like shes guilty that she bid so high, she actually asked for a "partial refund". I want to tell her to fvck off really bad. Please does anyone know? Shes really annoying the shit out of me.

if the item was as is, she got it, and has no complaints about the item other than the price - her loss.

it's the buyers responsibility to make sure they read the auction before bidding.

Yes that is EXACTLY the deal, I am confused myself. Whats funny is 17 people bid before her, so obviously a lot of other people knew it was a good deal too. Shes complaining about a price she bid herself up to, she is a fvckn lunatic.
I'm gonna give it 24 hours and see how I feel about telling her off tommorow. If it still feels as urgent as today I'll do it. She just honestly sounds like she didn't read the listing or like she really dumb. I just dont want me telling her off to show up in court anytime soon lol

Shes a lunatic and paypal is notorious for telling people to shove it... so I wouldnt worry about it... I heard paypal will even get into it with the credit card companies if they try to chargeback something...

Don't let it bother you. Tell her bluntly, it was sold "as is" and described accurately.

I sold 2 small electric RC car a few years back on Ebay. They were used, each cost over $100 new and had about $50 in upgrades. I had numerous pics and described them well. Both sold for around $50. One buyer was very happy and gave me good feedback. The other said I ruined her 10 year old sons Christmas and I should be ashamed. I told here she would have to pay 3 times as much to get the car new, and this car was nearly new. Then she just said "**** you".

Can't please everyone no matter what you do. Good people normally feel bad in this kind of situation. She's just trying to manipulate you. Don't feel bad about it, move on.

When you bid on ebay its like a legally binding contract to agree to pay the amount you bid. Ive sold hundreds of items on ebay and had lots of idiot customers. If this person gives you negative feedback you can get it removed using the conflict resolution support from ebay. You can show them emails from both parties, item listings, transaction history, receipts etc. and they are usually pretty good at getting to the bottom of conflicts(they were very helpful for me at least). Paypal, which is actually the same company as Ebay, is very helpful too.
