Test e injection - Glute or Thigh?

Most people I have spoken to inject into the glute, but I am thinking of going with the thigh. Firstly, it's GOTTA be easier to manage the injection. Secondly, I don't sit on my thigh all day, so i won't have to worry as much about soreness.

The question is - is there any drawback or disadvantage to injecting into the thigh vs. the glute? If not, why do you think more people seem to go with the glute? IMO a muscle is a muscle, both are relatively 'meaty' and therefore should both be good candidates, but the thigh is much easier to get to.

Ive always done the quad. Even on short ester and ive never been to sore. People do the glutes because its not as intimidating if you ask me. Also if you go with glutes watch out for that sciatic nerve lol.

Thanks C-Man, i'm def. going with the quad. Needles don't bother me, particularly when i'm the one administering. Glute just seems like a pain in the ass, no pun intended.

Quads are great if you want better control of the syringe. It is also great that you can see everything perfectly. I have done quads and glutes... and I prefer quads. Glutes are not hard to pin.... but I notice that the pin moves around a lot when I do glutes.

The advantage to the glute is that even if you have a painful injection, you can still train legs. If you have a painful injection in the quad, you might have to skip a leg workout. Also, you may hobble around. I had a VERY painful quad pin once that landed me out of 2 leg workouts. I trained calves and hams only for those 2 workouts

Thanks Big, I know i'll get flamed for saying this but I won't complain if I have to miss a leg workout or 2. =)

On another note - I currently have 1.5 inch needles, originally intending on pinning the glute. I have a somewhat fat arse, but barely any fat over my quad - would it make sense to run out and get 1 inch pins since i'm going with the quad now?

I pin EOD. Glutes, quads, and delts.

I actually have the most post-injection pain in the quads..

But yes. I only use 1.5" needles on the glutes. Everything else I use 1".

25 guage 1" for quads, delts, pecs and bis. 1.5"23g for glutes. I choose a bigger guage needle for glutes because it is easier to inject when I lack the control.

I have always shot in glute. Just don't shoot in the same area of the glute twice in the same week or you will jump out of your chair as soon as you sit down.

pinning legs there is a much bigger chance of hitting a vein or nerve! I did one quad injection and it a huge nerve. the blood filled up the syringe like old faithful! Never will try it again. if you are injecting the glute in the correct spot, it should be no problem looking right at the injection site

Argh, I figured as much! Atm all I have are 1.5" 23g. I'm planning to start the cycle on Monday and doubt i'll be able to get my hands on anymore darts before then.

Do you think i'd be ok with the 23g in the quad? As for the 1.5", I don't have to go all the way in.

Yeah that sounds fine. You can give the glutes a shot just for the hell of it as well. But yeah my first cycle was 23guage in the quads. I would still go most of the way in, just to prevent any leakage of oil

I had to use 1.5 inches on the quad a few times because I ran short on pins. It didn't feel any different

I'll give it a go. It's just that i'll be doing this around 4:15am and won't have the time to be fumbling around playing with my ass, lol. The quad is just way more convenient because I can pin while i'm sitting on the bowl... not to be nasty. =) Hmm, that's almost unsanitary now that I think of it.
