Excedrin is my Pre workout supplment!.. if my joints hurt i take ibuprofen, which is every leg day.. i take naproxen sodium when ever my lower back hurts.. thats on deadlift day.. and when i have a hard day at work (im an industrial electrician and do tons of work w/ pipe/conduit where the 10' stick can weigh 80-120lbs) running lots of pipe..
i take aspirin every morning for my heart?

SO IN SUM- I take NSAIDS almost every effin day.. and im still bigger than the majority of the people here... so either..
A).. the effects of NSAIDS is extremely over exaggerated
    or
B).. if i would NOT of taken them my whole life.. i could probably be 400-500lbs of solid gradeA'Beef.. since i would be like 2x as big as i am now
LOL, I was a regular with NSAIDS until I got ulcerative colitis (taking them had nothing to do with me getting UC). Now I take celebrex. I still take ibuprofen, aspirin and even tylenol if the pain is bad enough. Pain raises cortisol which can cause more problems then the minor issues with NSAIDS. Better to treat the pain. Bodybuilding/powerlifting...hurts.

NSAIDs may have some inhibiting factor to protein synthesis but to say it negates any gains from a workout the day you take it is utter bullshit. Complete nonsense.

Like taiboxa, I live on NSAIDs and anti-inflammatories. I take 2000mg of Relafen every freakin day for osteoarthritis issues, and often take a couple of doses of Tylenol during days when I'm on my feet a lot because the knees hurt so bad. It's the lesser of two (or three) evils for me. I'm on an elevated TRT dose right now while running deca and my gains have been pretty outstanding. I'd rather be in less pain throughout the day so I can enjoy life to the fullest extent than worry about the minor impact NSAIDs are going to have on my gains.
