    Wierd shit you do when you are really into a lift

    When I'm really into a lift.. I start.. grinning. Then my head goes to that GET SOME place.

    Occasionally I will think of f n a hot bitch and I will get extra reps out but my head gets all funky towards the end and I am wondering if I need to slow down so I don't spurt. Then I remember I'm lifting a weight not ****ing.

    I think some people need a breathalyzer hooked up to their computer and they are not allowed to post online if they are over the legal limit on consuming alcohol.

    I think of some beefy guy behind me and that if i drop he the weight he will rape me. So i immediately drop it and turn around only to find some overweight 80 year old man who hasn't used shaved in 20 years smiling at me.

    I focus on what I am doing, I know it sounds crazy right Why focus on the lift? I am just lifting not ****ing (sarcasm). I feel sorry for your girlfriend by the way, if you almost prematurely ejaculate at the gym she must not be satisfied at all.

    I think about different things, really should concentrate on the lift more though!!! sometimes i will think about hot girls, and sometimes it may get an extra rep out of me but usually it actually puts me off!!!

    Our gym has some shit music channel on all the time aswel, u get the odd good motivating song but most of the time just rubbish!!! always afraid of breaking my ipod too!! off topic but just hate that

    As usual the free weights are racked in front of a mirror...i sit down on the bench or whatever it is and stare at myself and start jittering. That goes on for up to a good 30 seconds if the lift is a real heavy set. I get some looks but i could really give a rats a$$ about the cornballs liftin next to me.

    Then i start thinkin about Betty White. Then i think of the snickers commercial with Betty White in it....which leads me to think about Snickers...which makes me purchase a snickers as a post workout meal...which ruins my diet...which makes me write a hate letter to Betty White.

    This one time I was lifting and all of a sudden a panda jumped out from behind the water machine and said "HEY YOU GIMME SOME CHICKIN" and I was like "nah man" but not really though.

    Does anyone else keep re-gripping the dumbells while they rest on your lap before you kick em up for an incline or shoulder press?

    i swear i re grip about 40 times on a good day

    I have my headphones on, so i dont realize it but im making grunting noises and that 'TSSSSS" sound. I lifted without headphones yesterday and realized how annoying ive sounded all along lol.

    I put 4 dumbells together end to end to form a square...i spit in the square repeatedly until i feel its good enough and i **** the dumbells...

    I get a lotta weird looks from people..but im not sure why.

    any-whey (get it)....it helps me a lot...

    On leg days i light a fire in the middle of the gym and do a rain dance.. helps me get psyched up!
