    roadblock on my cycle

okay so im planning out a potential first cycle. been doing my hw and researching as best i can and im stuck on something. most reccomend that for ym first cycle i do Test E for 12 weeks, simple and sweet. However i am concerned about shutdown and im thinking a shorter but just as "effective" cycle of Test P for 8-10 weeks. Less time on would generally equate to less potential for sides and less chance/shorter duration of being shutdown. Though apparently there are some issues with injection pain from Test P...since its my first time im not sure about that ...i know HCG would help with the shutdown, but if i can get away with doing a shorter cycle of Test P and not having to do HCG that would be great (less injections, alot less money).

major appreciation and thanks for some insight/reccomendations on this dillemna!

you are going to be shut down on either.

    What sides are concerning you?

test prop will be more painfull and needs to be injected eod test e is only 2x a week.

ohhhhhh, i thought that 8wks on would have minimal if any shutdown...oops. the only sides that are of any concern to me is testicular atrophy and effects on my libido. i have read some logs/reviews where people have ED and libido issues for months after coming off. to be honest that is the ONLY thing causing me to wait on starting a cycle...just want to be sure im going to have a full rebound to my natural hormonal state and not limp dick i was hoping that with a very simple and mild cycle of simply test there wouldnt be too much of an issue with serious recovery/libido issues.

would i be right in assuming that, and also that some HCG would "solve" some of those potential problems?

Agreed. Prop will hurt, and Enanthate will probably hurt you as well. Your a virgin to the compounds. Enanthate>Prop for first time user IMO.

Make sure PCT is planned well and on point. Get hormone/liver panel once finished to calculate if the planned PCT is enough to bring you back.

i have been doing ALOT of reading on here (especially the "theories/hypotheses"thread) and i really want to do a shorter cycle...less time on will mean a faster and better recovery, among other things.

when running prop i will dilute/cut it down with some grapeseed oil so the mg/ml isnt so concentrated which should help decrease the injection pain. also i will not be able to run any kind of cycle between september through may because of school. so a nice and simple 8 week cycle of prop with proper PCT during the summer would be perfect for me. no distractions, ideal training/growing/recovering situation.

im continuing my pct research right now...i allready know im not using clomid since i have pre-existing eye/vision problems. i will have arimidex on hand for use during cycle (if need be) and for pct, also will include nolva. focus of research now is wether to include HCG for my 8weeks prop+pct...
