test levels higher in the morning?

How much higher is your testosterone right when you wake up compared to at night before bed time? I have always heard that it's higher in the morning.

But really, how much higher can it be? 10-20 points maybe I have had friends say it's best to train heavy in the morning because of this. But I actually prefer to train later in the day so I can get a few meals in to give me more energy.

ive heard this too but how much higher? prop not much in the big pic.

#2 yes it is wayyyyy better to train when you have some good meals in you. expecially those carbs. my strenght, energy levels, and pump seem to be dependent on the food ive eaten

i say train anytime after your 2nd full meal.

but thats just my 2 cents!

If you workout at the same time everyday your test levels will naturally rise up during those hours out of habit.

Its in tune with your own circadian rhythm of the body, testosterone pulses throughout the day with high and lows, normally it reaches a peak in the morning and then drops by as much as 20% towards the night. Thats if your natural of course

Morning wood actually has nothing to do with T levels. Has nothing to do with sexual arousal either. It's just part of the REM period of sleep. It increases blood flow, including in your penis. Thus creating a wicked hard boner. That's why a lot of times even though a man is impotent he still get's nocturnal boners.

    Interesting thread.

I had my test checked at 3:00PM and it was 236 ng on scale of 280-800.

Two weeks later I had it checked at 7:30AM and it was 437 ng on scale of 280-800.

So, I guess there can be a major diff in time of day
